I had so much fun with this omg. I did NOT expect that much depth in it, and the cleaning mechanics threw me off a bit until I started to understand how it all fit together from some of the notes. But the cleaning was FUN regardless, and the story was shockingly awesome? Like I did NOT expect that sort of drama from this at ALL. There's honestly enough going on here that I think it's just got so much potential. I did run into a few bugs throughout my playthrough but all but the very last one was minor and didn't really affect gameplay. (Getting killed as I am going through the end dialogue that I can't really make go faster felt like a low blow at the time lol)

Here's my playthrough if you're interested!

Thank you so much for playing! I had a blast watching your game play and seeing your reaction to some of the twists and turns the game had to offer, I'm so glad to see that you enjoyed the game and the lore behind it! The current project was done for a jam so there are a few bugs but I'll definitely be fixing those up soon and adding more to the game so stay tuned!

Thanks for making it! I look forward to seeing more from you in the future--I was super impressed by this!

Damn, Daniel.

[mild spoilers]

No, but seriously, I wasn't expecting the amount of story packed into the game. There's clearly some kind of cult activity going on with Spiro, told through the evidence, that took a couple of playthroughs for me to fully understand. I was trying to figure out how the game has parasites and I got it when I figured out that the house is itself the host for the parasite, or is the parasite itself since it's alive I guess. It makes me wonder who these people were, who their god is and what they plan to do beyond summoning him? Is the pink place at the end us disappearing into the walls? Eaten by the house? What does it mean if we clock out, are we consenting to be consumed by the house? Idk

Really pretty art, satisfying gameplay, I think especially for a horror game for a jam it's at a really good place for more content and then I could totally see it taking off.

Interesting game. Some of the effects in the game look neat. You have to investigate the hotel and clean up the space. All while learning what really happened here. There is an issue with the stairs where sometimes you might get stuck - just double jump and it should fix it.
